May: Journal 9

Day 9 (November 10):

Today we had a speaker came, she talked about the program named big brother big sister. That’s a really good program for young kids. It accepted volunteer to help and be the older brother and older sister. That helped the kids who need help and not only just took care of their life but also helped take care of their heart and minds. I was kind of interested in this program and it was really good for kids and adult to have a communication.

Then in the afternoon we went to McDonald House again. These time, we helped clean the game room. At there, I found a lot of memories. Also, the toys in there were abundant. Then after we finished, we went to make cookies. :) That’s my first time made cookie. My partner is Hedyeh~:) We were the last group finished. We enjoyed the process, though.
That was a really good experience for me to know there was this kind of program for little kids and also a excellent time to make cookies~
