Immediately during the morning, we went to the Ability Center and we met again Dan Wilkin, a speaker that came before talking about the world of disable people. When we finished in the Ability Center, we came back to the campus to finish the movie.
The reflection for today was both amazing, interesting, and hurtful because I learned even more of what is like to live as a disabled person. The hurtful part comes from using the crutches and I was not getting use to it. The reason is that my armpits seriously hurt is by putting the crutches underneath the pits and it starts rubbing with my pits and the pads. The amazing and interesting part is that I learned even more how disabled people can live independently which is the amazing part and the techniques for the disabled people to use like special knife or a special type of cookbook was quite interesting because for me I really do not have to use these type of things but the view of a disabled is different meaning they have to have special things to be able to live independent.
I learned a lot from how a disabled can live independently to the challenges for the disabled to live in the outside world.
