Today it was game day because we were preparing for Winterim Fair and from 7:00-9:00 it was game time which is Winterim Fair. It was similar to Academic Summit presentations in 7th grade where you present your theme that you have learned. Since I had a little of experience of presenting I was not scared.
During the whole night, it was all about advocacy because we explained the basic idea of service learning. Then we explained our action plan that would affect our school community in a certain class such as the physics class that I have planned for them. It was quite an amazing evening because I taught several people about service learning. I liked several people who were engaging to know more about my action plan. Then later on, it was depressing because nobody came in. Also it was sad that some people ignored our greater understanding of service learning. Overall it was a fun night teaching several people about service learning. Also it was the ending of Winterim which is sad because it was somewhat a relaxing break from the everlasting high school such as the Mr. C papers or other homework.
