Yesterday was our last full day for Winterim :( We went to the Lifebridge center again, but this time we actually assembled the Thanksgiving bags. It was actually a pretty nice experience. There were so many volunteers! There was at least a hundred other volunteers that were there to help. That was much more than I expected, I only thought it was going to be us and a few others. All our sorting and heaving from the day before actually paid off - it made the assembly line go so much smoother. The news even came!
Winterim fair was last night, I think it well pretty well. I noticed that a lot of parents walked in, took a look around, and left without talking to anyone. That made me a little sad. Anyways, the parents that did come and talk to us where pretty enthusiastic about our plans.
I'm going to be sad once I have to go back to classes and tons of homework, but at least I'll always remember what we did over the course of this month. Yesterday was like the cherry on top :) I gotta say, this Winterim is unlike anything else I've done at school before. Thank you Mrs. Ariss and Mr. Graham for bearing with us all month with all our shenanigans!
